Evaluation:
On the skin tolerance of the treatment.
On the cosmetic effectiveness of the treatment.
Results:
1º. Evaluation of skin tolerance
The dermatological control and subjective evaluation of the volunteers participating in the experiment have shown that the treatment in question did not produce unwanted and/or collateral side effects in any of the subjects treated, showing optimum skin tolerance.
2º. Evaluation of cosmetic effectiveness (microscopic analysis and macro-photographs)
The results obtained in the microscopic analysis and the macro-photography of the hair and scalp, have shown that the treatment in question did induce a slight hair growth and a slight strengthening of same in 35% of the cases treated.
3º. Evaluation of cosmetic effectiveness (subjective evaluation)
In relation to cosmetic effectiveness, at the end of the treatment, the following was evident:
Conclusions:
According to the experiment conditions adopted in this study, under both dermatological control and the subjective evaluation of the volunteers, the treatment in question has shown optimum skin tolerance.
The results obtained from the microscopic analysis and the macro-photography of the hair and scalp have shown that the treatment in question induced a slight hair growth and a slight strengthening of the hair, demonstrating the good cosmetic activity of the treatment to help with hair growth in subjects affected by androgenetic alopecia.
Such results have been confirmed in the judgement of the volunteers who have shown that the treatment in question induces the growth of new hair, with the resulting reduction in the lightness of same.
