DHT (dihydrotestosterone) is a derivate of testosterone, and is the ultimate cause of hair loss in men. DHT intervenes to shorten the growth phase of the hair and reduces it in such a way that the new hair fails to achieve either the size or thickness of their predecessors, and is ultimately almost invisible.
